Ok, so when I found out there was a Viking festival and we are planning on studying Vikings in a few weeks we had to go. It was really fun and interesting. We saw people in full chain maille and armor, the kids decorated a shield and got a sword, there were Scottish and Irish bands (I love live music!) etc. The kids got a free accordian lesson and brace yourselves... we all participated (except Luc of course) in axe throwing! Christian competed with 50 odd people and WON! This was his first time ever even trying it. We will definately go back next year.
